Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: i. Isolated fracture of Mandibular corpus. ii. Patients with physical status of ASA I or ASA II.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: i. Patients with comorbidities like uncontrolled diabetes, bleeding disorders, preoperative nerve injury or conditions requiring chronic analgesic use. ii. Patients with documented allergy to amide local anesthetics or corticosteroids. iii. Patients who do not give consent for the procedure.

To assess the duration of postoperative analgesia using ropivacaine with or without dexamethasone for managing postoperative pain in mandibular open reduction surgeries.Timepoint: 2hr 4hr 6hr 8hr 10hr 12hr 14hr 16hr 18hr 20hr 22hr 24hr
