Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age 20 to 35 years Patient belonging to ASA 2 Patient posted for elective caesarean section

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient refusal Patient contraindicated to spinal anesthesia BMI greater than 40 Gestational Diabetes Placenta previa Emergency cases

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To determine if baseline PI greater than 3.5 is associated with a higher incidence of hypotension during the SA in patients undergoing LSCS. Timepoint: preoperative period

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the correlation between PI values and the degree of blood pressure and MAP changes following spinal anesthesia. Timepoint: From the administration of spinal anesthesia until the completion of surgery.
