Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient of either sex aged between 18 to 60 years of age presenting with signs and symptoms of Shitada (Gingivitis) described as per Ayurveda and Modern Science will be included in the study. The diagnosis of the disease shall be done with signs and symptoms of Shitada (Gingivitis) i.e. HbA1c less than 6.5 Akasmata RaktaSrava (Bleeding), Shotha (Inflammation), Krishnata (Discoloration of gums), Mukha Daurgandhya (Halitosis), Vedana (Pain), Dantamamsa Prakledata (Moistness), Paka (Pus discharge) and Dantamamsa Mriduta (Sponginess). Patients having blood pressure with systolic upto 138 mmhg and diastolic upto 88 mmhg will be included. HbA1c less than 6.5

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients below 18 years and more than 60 years of age. Patient with periodontal pocket. Diagnosed patients of malignancy, HIV. Uncontrolled HTN i.e. systolic blood pressure more than 138 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure more than 88 mmHg Uncontrolled Diabetes Mellitus, (HbA1C more than 6.5) Any systemic disorder which may alter the result of the study i.e, Haemophilia or other bleeding disorders, On anticoagulant therapy Orthodontic Appliances Removable partial denture Full Crowne teeth Pregnancy Lactation.
