Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with chronic periodontitis according to CDC criteria. 2. Patients aged between 30.00-65.00 years. 3. Systematically healthy patients.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who have taken anti-inflammatory/antibiotic therapy prior to one month of beginning of study. 2. Tobacco habit in any form and alcoholics. 3. Pregnant and lactating women. 4. Patient with known allergy to Bromelain/ patient with confirmed intolerance to Bromelain. 5. Subjects who have undergone periodontal treatment within six months of start of study.
