Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children of age group 03 to 12 years irrespective of Gender, Religion, Socio-Economic status and Food habits. Children with grade I and II Malnutrition according to IAP classification

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children with Grade III and IV Malnutrition according to IAP classification. Children with serious alarming signs and symptoms and complicated SAM (Severe Acute Malnutrition) Children suffering from infectious and chronic systemic disorder like TB, HIV. Children with chromosomal, genetic, metabolic or congenital disorder. Children with worm infestation.

Changes in blood investigations: Serum protein, Albumin/Globulin Ratio, Blood Urea Nitrogen, Complete Blood Count, S. Creatinine, T. CholesterolTimepoint: 8 weeks
