Health Condition 1: G465- Pure motor lacunar syndrome

Interventions

Intervention1: Virtual reality-based exercises for improving upper limb motor functions.: In this study, Oculus Quest 2 will be used along with hand trackers. The patient will be given a head-mounted
a stationary boundary will be set, and a game will be selected according to the patient from the Meta Horizon app. The session will be taken for 20-30 minutes on alternate days for a period of 8 week

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: i. Patients between 30 and 65 years of age; ii. Patient in the sub-acute phase that is between 1 month to 6 months following the onset of a stroke. iii. Patient with UE function of Brunnstrom stage IV and above. iv. Patient with a score of at least 24 points in the Mini-Mental State Examination. v. Patient who can tolerate VR-based exercises in their first session of 20 minutes. vi. Patient diagnosed with subacute stroke confirmed by computed tomography or MRI

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: i. Patient with previous history of epilepsy or neurosurgery; ii. Patient with history of transient ischemic attack (TIA); iii. Patient with severe cognitive impairments or aphasia; iv. Patient diagnosed with the failure of a vital organ. v. Any neurological disease vi. Musculoskeletal problem vii. All types of aphasia or visual problems that could not be corrected
