Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| The primary outcome of this study is the intensity of postoperative pain assessed at 6, 12, 24, 48 and 72 hours after root canal treatment using Numerical Rating Scale. Pain levels will be compared between the EDTA and chitosan nanoparticle irrigation groups to determine their effectiveness in postoperative pain reduction.Timepoint: 6, 12, 24, 48 and 72, 1 week | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Incidence of Analgesic Intake: The number of patients requiring analgesics & the total dosage consumed within 48 hours postoperatively. Patient-Reported Outcomes: Subjective patient satisfaction regarding discomfort & overall treatment experience.Timepoint: 6, 12, 24, 48 & 72, 1 week | — |
