Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients requiring orthodontic mini-implants for anchorage purposes. 2.Age between 13-30 years. 3.Good oral hygiene and absence of periodontal disease

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.pregnancy 2.Patients on long-term antibiotic therapy 3.Smokers 4.Presence of active oral infections

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Reduction in bacterial colonization on the implant surface.Timepoint: assessment will be done at 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months
