Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Physical status of ASA I & II 2. Surgery expected to last for more than 2 hours under general anaesthesia
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients not giving consent 2. Pregnancy 3. Those with uncontrolled hypertension and cerebrovascular disease 4. Those with co-morbid diseases- cardiovascular, hepatorenal, pulmonary, haematological, neurological, metabolic, obesity (BMI- more than 30kg/m2) 5. Allergy to study drugs 6. Those with history of alcohol or drug abuse within 3 months of surgery 7. Patients having hearing impairment
