Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 60 adult patients undergoing elective surgeries lasting more than 2 hours. Adults aged 18-65 years, ASA classification I-III.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pre-existing pressure ulcers, spinal deformities, ASA classification IV-V, emergency surgeries, pregnancy, BMI over 35, patient having any previous back pain.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the incidence of pressure ulcers in patients using normal OT mattresses versus those using anatomical curvature OT mattresses.Timepoint: To assess Post operative Pressure ulcers using (Braden score) 0hours, 6hours , 12hours and 24hours.—

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To compare the patient pain score between normal OT mattresses and anatomical curvature OT mattresses after surgery.Timepoint: 1. Pain score is assessed ( VAS score)post - operatively at 0 hours , 6hours , 12hours , 24 hors .—
