Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients of either sex of age group between 18 to 65 yrs Both freshly detected and previously diagnosed cases of diabetic kidney disease Patients with a clinical positive history of type 1 and type 2 DM Patients with microalbumin between 30 to 299 mg/L in random urine sample Patients with eGFR between 30 to 89 ml/min/1.73 m Patient willing to participate in the study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patient aged below 18 years and above 65 years Patients with microalbumin greater or equal to 300 mg/ L in random urine sample Microalbuminuria developed due to other conditions (such as urinary tract infections other febrile infections recent exercise heart failure and uncontrolled hyperglycemia or hypertension) Patient with other severe complication of Diabetes Mellitus Patients with an eGFR (glomerular filtration rate) less than 30 ml/min/1.73m Patients with serum creatinine level above 5 mg/dl Pregnant and lactating women and during post -delivery period Any other severe systemic illness such as HIV TB malignancies cardio-vascular disease Patients with uncontrolled blood pressure (BP greater than 160/90mmhg) will be excluded
