Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patient age group of 12-60 yrs of either sex. 2.As per classical signs and symptoms described in ayurvedic texts and modern literature 3.Prediagnosed patient of Shwitra. 4.Diagnosed case of Shwitra either segmental or generalized.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients below 12 yrs and above 60 yrs of either sex. 2.White anesthetic spots which are characteristics of leprosy. 3.Pregnant women/lactating mother. 4.Shwitra associated with other skin diseases like kitibha, vicharchika etc. will be excluded. 5.Patients with arishta lakshana like generalized Vitiligo, white patches forms due to burns. 6.Patients associated with diabetes. 7.Patients having AIDS, Hep-B, leukemia.

MeasureTime frame
The improvement in the patients will be assessed mainly on the basis of relief in the cardinal symptoms of the disease- 1.whitish color of skin 2.dryness of skin 3.burning sensation of the skinTimepoint: 90 days

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The analysis of values like Hb%,TLC,DLC will be done before and after the treatment.Timepoint: 90 days
