Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient admitted for Cardiac surgeries, SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Center age above 18 years undergoing any cardiac surgery both on / off pump. NYHA 1 and 2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Hemodynamically unstable patients Contraindication are left main disease, unstable angina, critical stenosis, and intraoperative adverse effects

Primary

MeasureTime frame
the incidence of post-operative pulmonary complications in patients undergoing cardiac surgery.Timepoint: After surgery till post operative period day 5 or discharge.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To monitor the length of intensive care unit stay, duration of mechanical ventilation, levels of PaO2 and PaCO2, peak expiratory flow rate (PEFR), and breath-holding time (BHT). Timepoint: Every 24 hours of post operative period till discharge or day 5.
