Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Adult patients of either gender more than 18yrs of age newly diagnosed pulmonary and extrapulmonary tuberculosis. 2. Patients weighing more than 38kgs are included

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: HIV positive patients. Clinically diagnosed case of tuberculosis. Patients with other comorbidities Patients taking medications for other comorbidities Pregnant females 6. Patients not willing to give consent

primary outcome is whether the patient is recovered which is evaluated by culture negativityTimepoint: Outcome will be measured at baseline and at 6months
