Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients between the age group of 30-70 years of either sex present with clinical features of Prameha. 2.Patients having a fasting blood sugar level (FBS) greater than 126 mg/dL and less than 200 mg/dL and patients having a 2 hour post prandial blood sugar level (PPBS) greater than 200mg/dL and less than 350 mg/dL. 3.Written consent showing willingness to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients below 30 years and above 70 years will be excluded. 2.Pregnant and lactation mothers. 3.Known case of Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus or I. D. D. M. Patients. 4.Type 2 DM patients having insulin therapy due to secondary failure. 5.Patients suffering from the complications of DM like Ketoacidosis, Neuropathy, Nephropathy, Retinopathy and Diabetic wounds. 6.Patients suffering from any severe systemic disease, chronic infections or any active malignancy.
