Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients with acute hypoxemic respiratory failure with PaO2 less than 60 mm Hg,SpO2 less than 90%. 2.Patients with respiratory failure whose GCS less than 8 with inability to protect the airway and with hemodynamic compromise.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Those not consenting for the study 2.Pregnancy 3.Suspected difficult airway due to reduced neck movements, mouth opening. 4.Recent facial, upper airway, or upper GI tract surgery
