Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Matching factors : 1.Participants will be enrolled irrespective of their age, gender, socio-economic status. 2.IT professionals with work experience more than 2 years. 3.IT professionals with daytime work schedules will be included. 4.Participants who consume alcohol in mild to moderate quantity. 5.Participants who consume nicotine and nicotine like substances. Group A: 1.Participants who consume caffeine more than 400 mg/day Group B: 1.Participants who consume caffeine less than 400 mg/day.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Participants suffering from psychological disorder and are on long term medications. 2.Participation on medications like Ephindrine, Theophylline, Echinacea etc. 3.Participants with extensive travel history will be excluded. 4.Participants involved in the activity of staying awake during the night, termed as ratrijagran will be excluded. 5.Participants involved in intense physical exertion, termed as ativyayam will be excluded.

1.Study of caffeine as an anukta hetu and how it acts on dosha, dhatu and mala. 2.To Find ansha ansha vikalpana of caffeine. 3.How and which disease caffeine consumption can lead to ? Timepoint: As this is a cross sectional observational study the outcome will be assessed at a single time point.(i.e.at the time of participant recruitment and data collection).

MeasureTime frame
1.After knowing action of caffeine by ayurvedic perspective it can help ayurvedic practitioners to give Hetuviparit Chikitsa 2. The study will act as a platform in spreading awareness & preventive measures about caffeine toxicityTimepoint: As this is a cross sectional observational study the outcome will be assessed at a single time point.(i.e.at the time of participant recruitment & data collection).
