Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adults (aged 18 years and above) diagnosed with NSCLC and SCLC lung cancer. Posted for elective surgery with/without radiation therapy and with/without Chemotherapy. Patient willing to complete their treatment at Tata Memorial Hospital. Patients are able to comprehend Hindi and English.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient considered for surgery for secondary lung cancer.

To evaluate energy capacity in lung cancer patients at three timelines: pre-surgery, post surgery during hospitalization, and at six months follow-up, measured in metabolic equivalents of task (MET) using a bicycle ergometer.Timepoint: 6 months—
