Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.ASA physical status I III 2.Off-pump CABG procedures

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patient refusal 2.Non-sternotomy Cardiac procedures 3.Allergy to Pregabalin drugs 4.Emergency surgeries 5.Patients who taking anticonvulsants, antidepressant drugs

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the effect of preoperative oral pregabalin on reducing anxiety levels using, the VAS, State-Trait Anxiety Inventory scale as compared to control group. Timepoint: Assessment will include before 30 mins drug administration and after 30 mins, 12 hours of drug administartion

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To determine the impact of preoperative oral pregabalin on improving sleep quality, using the SATED Scale and stabilizing hemodynamic parameters as compared to control group. Timepoint: Assessment will include before 30 mins drug administration and after 30 mins, 12 hours of drug administartion
