Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Critically ill adults undergoing orotracheal intubation with the use of Video laryngoscope and Direct laryngoscope.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Unstable cervical spinal lesion. Pregnant female. Refusal by next of kin. Burns, faciomaxillary trauma and corrosive poisoning. Morbid obese.

Measure	Time frame
Successful intubation on the first attempt:- placement of an endotracheal tube in the trachea with the help of a laryngoscopy blade into the oral cavity. Hemodynamic parameters such as systolic and diastolic blood pressure, heart rate, and SpO2 will be recorded.Timepoint: Outcome will be assessed immediately after the 1st intubation attempt at 0 minutes, 15 minutes and 30 minutes.	—
