Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adolescents diagnosed with conduct disorder (F91) as per ICD-10 Diagnostic Criteria for Research, WHO Adolescents in the age group of 10 years to 19 years Adolescents who can comprehend Hindi and/or English language Adolescents obtaining above Grade IV Intellectual Capacity (25th Percentile) in Raven s Standard Progressive Matrices Adolescents with at least a primary level of education Adolescents giving assent for the study Parents with at least a primary level of education Parents who can comprehend Hindi and/or English language Parents who are available for the specified sessions Parents giving informed consent for the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Adolescents diagnosed with other comorbid psychiatric disorders except Hyperkinetic Disorder (F90) and Harmful Use of Psychoactive Substances (F1x.1) Adolescents diagnosed with organic brain disorder, or any medical/ neurological illness. Children and adolescents obtaining less than the 25th percentile on Standard Progressive Matrices Parents scoring less than 5 on General Health Questionnaire-28 Parents currently on any psychiatric treatment Parents diagnosed with organic brain disorder, or any medical/ neurological illness. History suggestive of antisocial personality disorder

Change in adolescent s emotional regulation, empathy; and parental emotional socialization practices.Timepoint: Baseline, Post Intervention, and 3 Month Follow-up.
