Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients having age between 18 and 40 years irrespective of any gender. 2) Systemically healthy and co-operative patients will be selected. 3) Asymptomatic vital first and second mandibular permanent molars having deep occlusal caries. 4) Tooth with negative response to vertical and lateral percussion. 5) Positive pulpal response to electric pulp test. 6) Temporary sensitivity to cold food and/or food lodgment. 7) Radiographically showing occlusal caries approaching the pulp.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients having any developmental anomalies of teeth. 2) Patients with cardiac pacemakers. 3) Tooth having continuous or spontaneous pain, presence of a swelling or a sinus tract adjacent to the involved tooth, tenderness on percussion, pathologic tooth mobility, excessive hemorrhage from exposure site indicating progressive inflammation or requiring root canal treatment. 4) Tooth with internal resorption as well external resorption as seen on radiograph. 5) Radiograph showing periapical pathology.
