Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients included in the study will have maxillary crowding with a Little s Irregularity Index between 4 and 6 and the presence of all maxillary permanent teeth. They must not be on long-term medication, including NSAIDs, and should have no history of previous orthodontic treatment. Good oral hygiene, absence of gingival recession, and no radiological evidence of periodontal problems are required for eligibility.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Systemic disease or syndrome - Abnormalities in teeth size/or shape - Patient having compromised periodontal health

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcome of the study is the rate of orthodontic tooth movement in maxillary anterior crowding with Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT). Changes will be measured at regular intervals on study casts for both groups till alignment completionTimepoint: Outcome will be assessed on the baseline day, 2nd week, 4th week, 6th week, 8th week, 10th week and 12th week

MeasureTime frame
Assessment of pain levels during the leveling and alignment phase of maxillary anterior crowding treatment using Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT). Pain intensity will be measured using a Visual Analog Scale (VAS) where a VAS questionnaire will be completed by the patientTimepoint: VAS questionnaire will be completed by the patient starting from the day following irradiation and will be repeated every 2 weeks till alignment completion
