Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: First ever stroke (hemorrhage or ischemia) in the middle cerebral artery territory as confirmed by medical records, Onset more than 3 months but less than 6 months prior to enrolment in the trial, Age above 40 years but less than 70 years, MMSE score above 24, ability to understand simple instructions, Ability to sit for at least 60 mins, Willingness to participate & sign an informed consent, Fluent in Hindi or English language
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Participants having more than 1 episode of stroke, Diagnosis of any uncontrolled or unstable medical condition, Coexisting neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer s and Parkinson s disease, or a psychiatric pathology, Musculoskeletal injury or fracture in the affected UE in the past 6 months that can limit or restrict the range of motion in the affected upper extremity, Having any other impairment limiting the use of VR system, High susceptibility to motion sickness, as evidenced by a score of 26 or greater on the Motion Sickness Susceptibility Questionnaire - Short Form (MSSQ Short), corresponding to the 90th percentile for this test, Uncorrected auditory or visual impairments, subjects with severe UE paresis (i.e., the UE subscale of the Stroke Rehabilitation Assessment of Movement measure (STREAM UE) score at admission less than or equal 5), Spasticity of grade 3 or more on Modified Ashworth Scale
