Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Subjects aged between 18- 60 years. 2. Presence of a single edentulous site with neighbouring adjacent teeth. 3. Presence of at least 1 mm of intact bone at buccal and palatal aspect of the implant site. 4. Extraction of the failing tooth at least 3 months prior to enrolment. 5. Patient willing to give informed consent. 6. Patients with good compliance so as to meet the follow-up.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with systemic conditions related to peri-implant/periodontal status 2. Patient with autoimmune disease, psychiatric disorder and osteoporosis. 3. Patient undergoing or who underwent radiation therapy and chemotherapy to the head and neck region during the last 12 months. 4. Alcoholics, drug abusers or heavy smokers. 5. Pregnant or lactating women. 6. Parafunctional habits. 7. Patient with insufficient bone volume. 8. Short implants, narrow implants, implants placed immediately, and implants placed in combination with bone grafting procedures.
