Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Pediatric patients aged 1 to 6 years old. 2. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I and II. 3. To undergo elective surgical procedures with an ETT in situ.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Parents unwilling for the children to participate in the study. 2. Patients with upper airway malformations 3. Recent upper and lower respiratory tract infections and 4. Those with an anticipated difficult airway
