|---|---|
| To compare the total procedural timing that includes scanning time and needling time for performing fascia transversalis plane block and lateral quadratus lumborum blockTimepoint: After finishing the surgical repair of inguinal hernia under spinal anaesthesia , once the spinal anaesthesia blockade comes till T 10 | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| 1. To measure the static and dynamic post-op pain scores(BNRS) at 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 20, 24 hours.Timepoint: As soon as the block is given after spinal anaesthesia blockade reaching till T 10;To measure the 24-hour cumulative rescue analgesic consumption.Timepoint: As soon as the block is given after spinal anaesthesia blockade reaching till T 10;To assess the loss of sensation to cold and touch in the abdominal wall dermatomes from T9 to L1, in the midline and midclavicular lines on one sideTimepoint: As soon as the block is given after spinal anaesthesia blockade reaching till T 10 | — |
