Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18 years or older. 2. Expected length of stay more than 2 days. 3. Provide informed consent to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pre-existing generalized or regional weakness (stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury). 2. Delirium or dementia during ICU stay 3. Patients who died or transferred or discharged before 10 days were excluded 4. Patients with amputated limb, fractures/bleeding at the measurement points, upper and lower limb edema. 5. Declined to participate in the study.
