Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Newly diagnosed patients of psychosis prescribed with atleast one antipsychotic drug. 2. Patients of age above 18 years of either sex. 3. Patients willing to participate and give written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Critically ill,non-cooperative patients. 2. Patients diagnosed with organic disorders caused due to brain trauma, blood loss and diseases like Parkinson disease and Alzheimer disease.

1.Average number of drugs per prescription. 2.Percentage of drugs prescribed with generic name. 3.Percentage of drugs prescribed from the National Essential Drug List ( NEDL),2022. 4.Percentage of prescriptions with antibiotics prescribed. 5.Percentage of prescriptions with injections prescribed.Timepoint: 1. 6 months 2. 6 months 3. 6 months 4. 6 months 5. 6 months

1. Classification of drugs according to the Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical Classification. 2.Calculation of Daily Defined Dosage of prescribed drugs. 3.Percentage of patients having effect on the mental health and quality of life being prescribed antipsychotic drugs by using MHQOL-7D Questionnaire.Timepoint: 1. 6 months 2. 6 months 3. 6 months
