Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with signs and symptoms of vatakantak along with that of plantar fasciosa are the main criteria for diagnosis. Patients suffering from pain in heel with classical symptoms like: Patients with pratyatma lakshan of vatakantak i.e pain in plantar aspect of heel. Pain on keeping the first step in the morning with or without local swelling, stifness, tenderness. Patients irrespective of gender. Patients in the age group 20 to 65 years. Patients who will be giving valid written and signed consent. Patients with X-ray finding suggestive of calcaneal spur.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Calcaneal stress fracture, gout, neoplastic condition, nerve entrapment syndromes. Subjects with impaired circulation to lower extremities. Any wound on foot. Corticosteroid injections to heel, preceding 3 months. Children below 20 year.
