Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Hemoglobin more than 8 g 2. Children who were apparently healthy with no chronic illness 3. Children with normal baseline Renal Function Test 4. Children who had no plans of relocation of their home for the next 6 months during the timeframe of the study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Children with chronic illnesses like CKD, chronic liver disease, heart disease, bronchiectasis, severe asthma, and malignancy. Children with hemochromatosis 2. Hemoglobin less than 8 g 3. Immuno-comprimised children 4. Children with megaloblastic & pernicious anemia 5. Hemoglobinopathies such as thalassemia and sickle cell disease. 6. Severe acute malnutrition 7. Children who are on anti-coagulants Hemophilia A and B 8. Vitamin K deficiency 9. Factor V,VII,X deficiencies
