Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Primiparous women. Gestational age (37-42 weeks). Singleton pregnancy Cephalic Presentation Beginning of active phase of labor

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Preeclampsia Gestational diabetes. High blood pressure. History of cardiovascular diseases HELLP syndrome. Cutaneous lesions at the electrode site. Skin problems. Cephalo pelvic disproportion. Unwillingness to participate. Cognitive and psychiatric problems. Multiple pregnancy .

Primary

MeasureTime frame
VISUAL ANALOUGE SCALE for measuring the pain rrelief in the patientsTimepoint: before the delivery, during the time of delivery, and after delivery

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Usage of analgesics. Childbirth satisfaction with pain relief. FHR disorders( tachycardia & bradycardia). Number & frequency of uterine contractions every 10 minutes.
