Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA I-II Patients who provided informed consent Age 20-40 years Elective caesarean section

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with contraindications to spinal anaesthesia Spinal column surgeries Pregnant women with psychiatric disorders History of hypersensitivity to the study drugs History of drug addiction

vitals monitoring - Heart rate,Systolic blood pressure,Diastolic blood pressure,oxygen saturationTimepoint: Baseline,every 10 mins during surgery then at 30 mins postoperatively;to assess any side effects of fentanyl like nausea,vomiting,bradycardia,hypotension,pruritis and respiratory problems.Timepoint: during surgery and post operative period;Pain assessment -Visual Analogue Score (0-10)Timepoint: 1 hour postoperatively then every hour till 24 hrs;neonatal outcome by Apgar ScoreTimepoint: at 1 min and 5th min
