|---|---|
| To compare the post-operative analgesic duration between combined suprascapular and axillary blocks vs. interscalene blocksTimepoint: The duration of postoperative analgesia is defined as the time until the patient requires analgesics when the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) score reaches 3. The patient is observed postoperatively every 30 minutes, and if they report pain, rescue analgesics are administered. The rescue analgesics used are injection diclofenac (1 2 mg/kg) and injection paracetamol (15 mg/kg). The time of the first postoperative rescue analgesic administration is recorded. | — |

The pain response is assessed with a rise in Heart rate and blood pressure above baseline. Intraoperatively, fentanyl 0.5 g/kg is administered and noted if heart rate and blood pressure rise more than 20% of the baseline. | — |
