Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Histologically confirmed diagnosis of primary breast cancer (stages I, II, and operable IIIA) Planned to receive chemotherapy as part of their treatment regimen Menopausal status- Both premenopausal and postmenopausal women were eligible to participate

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Did not require chemotherapy as part of their treatment Receiving alternative therapies alone (without chemotherapy) Recurrent breast cancer patients with distant metastases Patients diagnosed with stage IIIB or higher breast cancer Reported outcomes for breast cancer patients that were intermixed with data from patients with other cancer types
