Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All the patients admitted to PICU during study period

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients admitted for surgical procedures 2. Patients admitted for chronic illness and palliative care 3. Not willing to participate

MeasureTime frame
Evaluating and comparing Shock Index, Modified Shock Index, and Shock Index-Paediatric Age-Adjusted (SIPA) in predicting Length of Stay and Outcomes in PICU Patients from RAPCC, Wenlock District Hospital which will help in early diagnosis of Shock and will also have a positive effect in reducing overall preventable paediatric mortality and morbidity.Timepoint: This helps in early detection of a patient who is more susceptible to go into SHOCK and appropriate interventions can be taken to prevent it.

MeasureTime frame
Decreasing the length of stay in the hospital thereby improving the overall health of the patient & for a better outcomeTimepoint: The outcomes at the time of discharge, either survived or expired & also the length of stay will be assessed for the secondary outcome
