Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria for experimental group are as follows: 1. Patients of age 14-24 years. 2. Patients with a deep bite of more than 6 mm. 3. Patients with a steep mandibular plane angle requiring intrusion of maxillary anterior teeth. 4. Patients with or without extraction therapy are included in this group. The inclusion criteria for control group are as follows: 1. Patients requiring orthodontic treatment other than the intrusion mechanics. 2. Patients undergoing non extraction mechano therapy. 3. Patients of age 14-24years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria will be the same in both the experimental and control groups which are as follows: 1.Patients with a previous history of orthodontic treatment, traumatic injuries, or restorations were excluded from both the experimental and control groups. 2.Patients with flared incisors or with periodontal disease were excluded
