Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patient presenting with minimum 4 classical symptoms of Tamaka Shwasa (Asthma) which are mentioned in diagnostic criteria. 2. Patient having symptoms of Utklishta Kapha i.e. Kaphaja Kasa, Hrillas, Praseka, Annadvesha, Ghurghuraka, Kapha Nishthivana. 3. At least 2 episodes of Asthma attack during last 1 year. 4. Patients on MDI or taking nebulization on & off of short or long-acting bronchodilator
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Evidence of requirement of intubations for Asthma, or had been hospitalized for asthma within one month before. 2. Unresolved sinus disease or an unresolved Upper or Lower respiratory tract infection within 4 weeks. 3. Known case of systemic illnesses such as TB, HIV and other chronic debilitating diseases. 4. Known case of active pulmonary disease other than Asthma.
