Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age - Above 18 and below or 60 years of age All genders Lower abdominal surgeries like hernia repair, hydrocoes, plastic and orthopaedic surgeries. American Society Of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) grades I and II Patients who have consented to the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Below the age of 18 and above 60 years of age. American Society Of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) grades III and IV. Patients with known co-morbidities like uncontrolled hypertension, respiratory diseases, or Angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors, patients on alpha adrenergic receptor antagonists, patients on angiotensin receptor blockers. Patients on chronic opioid therapies. Patients who have not consented to the study.

| To compare and assess the analgesic requirement for 24 hours in post operative period for patients undergoing lower abdominal surgeries under spinal anaesthesia with intrathecal morphine or dexmedetomidine with hyperbaric Levobupivacaine.
