Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -Patients with thyroid diseases planned for thyroidectomy -Patients of both the sexes -Patients from 18 yrs to 60 yrs -Patients who are willing to give consent for study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -Toxic nodular goitre -Relapse (Resurgery) -Patient not given consent for study are not included

Comparing the outcome of conventional suture ligation technique versus sutureless technique using bipolar diarthermy in thyroidectomyTimepoint: Patients are followed for 3 days postoperatively. After discharge patients are advised to follow up after 10 days , 6 weeks and 12 weeks in surgery opd.

MeasureTime frame
To compare conventional suture ligation technique with sutureless technique using bipolar diathermy in terms of operating time , blood loss & recurrent laryngeal nerve injury.Timepoint: Patients are followed for 3 days postoperatively. After discharge, patients are advised to follow up after 10 days , 6 weeks & 12 weeks in surgery opd.
