Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Individuals presenting with suspected central nervous system infections or other relevant neurological symptoms. Patients with symptoms suggestive of meningitis or other CNS infection fever headache altered mental status
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with contraindications to lumbar puncture or those unable to provide consent Patients with a history of prior CNS surgery that could affect CSF composition CSF samples with visible blood contamination or xanthochromia yellowish discoloration due to bilirubin Insufficient volume of CSF
