Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients of any gender between 19 to 60 years of age diagnosed as alcohol dependent as per DSM-5 Criteria
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients/ Family not willing to, or not in a position of giving consent. 2.Clinically significant medical disease that might interfere with the evaluation of the study medication or presence of a safety concern (pre-existing renal or liver problems., clinical psychiatric illness including psychotic or bipolar disorder) 3.Concurrent use of anticonvulsants, insulin, or oral hypoglycemics, 4.AST, ALT, GGT, ULN more than 3 times the normal limit 5.Pregnant women or women of childbearing potential 6.Patients already under some alcohol de addiction programme.
