Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Children having upper respiratory tract infection such as recurrent cough and cold at least once in a month, tonsilitis, pharyngitis will be included. 2. Children of age group 5-10 years, irrespective of sex, socio-economic status and ethnicity.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Children below 5 years and above 10 years will be excluded. 2.Patients suffering from Chronic diseases such as -COPD, whooping cough, asthma, pulmonary TB will be excluded 3.Having cough for the first time. 4.URTI with other complications involved such as breathing difficulty 5.Disease persisting for more than 1year.

Sign and symptoms will be assessed before and after treatment. i.e. Sukapurn Galasyata (sore throat), Kantha Kandu (Throat irritation), Kasa Vega (Frequency of cough bolus), Loma Harsha (Horripilation), Aruchi (Anorexia), Hoarseness of voice.Timepoint: Group A 30 Days Group B 30 Days

MeasureTime frame
CBC, ESR, Serum IgE & IgM level, CXR-PA view investigations will be done in patients before & after treatment.Timepoint: Gruop A 30 Days Group B 30 Days
