Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria include patients 18 years old or older with suspicion of cervical cancer referred to Manipal Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with inflammatory or haematological disease, past history of malignancy and presence of distant metastases will be excluded from the study.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The first study to decode genome-wide HPV integrations and associated host DNA changes at nucleotide resolution in cervical cancer among Indian women. Integrating this with gene expression provides insights into HPV-induced changes in host gene expression and immune cell infiltration in early vs. late-onset cases. The findings may help identify potential biomarkers for improved clinical management, therapies, and early detection.Timepoint: Baseline Pretreatment Samples

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Identification of novel cervical cancer susceptible genes orgenetic markers in the Indian population.Timepoint: Baseline Samples
