Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Parents/ legal guardians of the subject voluntarily willing their ward to volunteer for the study and have signed consent form and volunteers above the age of 12 years have signed the assent form. 2.Subjects of age group 10- 18 years old. 3.Individuals diagnosed with beta thalassemia. 4.Subjects physically capable to participate in the study and can follow commands. 5.Stable medical condition i.e. no acute exacerbation of their underlying disease.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Subjects diagnosed with any form of communicable diseases (example Hepatitis B , STDs etc). 2.Individuals those underwent any thoracoabdominal surgeries. 3.Subjects having any underlying cardiovascular diseases. 4.Subjects who are bedridden. 5.Individuals who had recent ribs fracture and surgically managed.
