Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who are scheduled for CABG surgery. Patients with age between 30 to 70 years. Patients with no active infections at the time of recruitment that is no fever, sepsis, or wound infection. Patients with impaired but manageable baseline respiratory function. Patients with chest expansion measurement less than 1.12 inches at axillary region and less than 1.41 inches at the level of xiphisternum. Patients with WHOQOLBREF score less than 60.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with pre-existing comorbidities COPD, heart failure, MI, CKD. Patients with unstable vitals Patients who are not willing to participate. Prolonged period on mechanical ventilator patients who cannot understand language
