Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patient with written informed consent. 2.ASA physical status I–II, adult. 3.Patients, of both genders, aged between 18 and 45 years. 4.Scheduled for elective non caeserean surgeries requiring spinal anaesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patient refusal. 2.Diabetics and pre-diabetes. 3.Aged more than 45 years or less than 18 years . 4.Patients with contraindications to SA (e.g., coagulopathy, thrombocytopenia, allergy to the local anaesthetic agent) and 5.Patients on steroids or serotonin-related medications (e.g., selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) were ort. 6.Patients having glycopyrrolate contra-indications (glaucoma, hyperthyroid, morbid obesity, cardiovascular disease, pulmonary disease, renal or hepatic dysfunction, and neuromuscular disease)
