Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.patients attending the general surgery OPD with inguinal hernia in the age group of above 18 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Bilateral, irreducible, strangulated/ obstructed, recurrent hernias. 2. Associated with comorbidities - severe renal, cardiac, liver diseases. 3. Patients with history of diabetes mellitus, peripheral neuropathy, cognitive dysfunction 4.Previous abdominal surgeries.
