Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients presenting with signs and symptoms of Sheetada (Gingivitis), minimum 4 / 6 symptoms described as per ayurvedic and modern texts. 2.Patients will be diagnosed clinically with the help of dental mirror, dental probe,and periodontal pocket probe, fulfilling the criteria of sheetada as well as gingivitis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patient having Oral cavity tumour, 2.Patients with marked pus discharge from gums. 3.Patients with Periodontal pocket. 4.Patients having any systemic disease which can cause Gingivitis. 5.Patients using any other systemic drugs which may alter the result of the study. 6.Patients having blood disorders like thalassemia, hemophilia, HIV etc.
