Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Group A Healthy volunteers of Kapha Pradhana Prakriti, willing to participate and willing to give consent. Subjects of age between 30-50 years. Subjects of either gender. Subjects with no comorbidities. Group B Subjects meeting the diagnostic criteria and willing to give consent. Subjects on medication for type-2 Diabetes Mellitus, not more than three years. Subjects on not more than two oral antihyperglycemic, oral antihyperglycemic + Insulin. Aged between 30-50 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Group A Subjects of Vata and Pitta Prakriti. Pregnant and lactating women. Group B Pregnant and lactating women. Subjects with Type 1 and other types of Diabetes mellitus. Subjects with other chronic illness intervening the study.
